"Ron looked at the thing Dad had in his hands and the Inscription read "Ole Yeller" He remembered his Dad talking about this
and blanked it from his mind and hoped to never see it. "DAD! NO i promise i get the message be a good boy and dont do
bad things on the set.... Come on daddy as he tries to leave the corner but his father cut him off as his hands went back to cover
his bottom again

Rance reflected on the lessons he learned over his Dad's knee. It was awful when it happened, but the pain went away quickly. The memories were another matter.
Memories, remembering, yes he had it he knew where it was.
He went to his bedroom closet, the old chest was there under some old shoes. He cleared them away and opened the lid. He tossed some clothes aside and there it was. He grasped the handle and stood up bringing it into the light. The wooden paddle his dad had made and used.
Rance pivoted and walked back to the living room.

He knew of his Friends getting a Whooping and knew of his friend Arnold hauled off to the woodshed
and knew Andy said it more then once to him
"Yes Sir I understand but i think their has to be another way "please" He turns around and says No Dad
their must be another way.. covering up his bottom with his hands and tries to block his dad from getting to him

Rance took a deep breath, he really hated what he had to do.

Rance left him in the corner while he gathered his thoughts about what needed to be done.

Ron stands in the corner and says,"Dad I think am done with my Thinking
and I know I need to listen more and not do any more pranking of any kind
because someone can get hurt

Ron started to stumble with his words "Write me out of the show" "Andy needs me we are a team i am his
son on there.
Ron started to weep a bit and knows how much he loves Andy and says "Write me off" I don't want to me written
off Daddy. Ron is finally started to see the error in his ways but its to late to turn around and not pay for his misdeeds
and consequences
Dad what can i do so they don't do that? Daddy!

Rance marched/dragged his son into the living room and stood him up in the corner.
"The director is thinking about rewriting the scripts so you aren't needed on the set. That's no laughing matter. But I told him I was going to be sure that you changed your ways."

Looked over at his father who had a full grip of him and they dragged him in the house
"aw Come on i am sure lot of people were laughing at the situation.. That Don had it coming
he is such a nerd! Ron didn't realize what he was saying he was still young he didn't have his Dad
always to teach him right from wrong but it was going to change

Rance couldn't believe his son actually claimed his behavior was fun or appreciated by anyone. They reached the porch, he reached out and grabbed his son by the shoulder and spin him around so they were face to face. "You listen to me young man. No one thought that was funny!. You caused a lot of trouble for all those people. I have had enough and you, you are going to feel the consequences."  Rance gripped Ron by his upper arm and steered him through the door way and into their home.
