“Hello From the McFarlands” – A Fresh Start in Culver

Good day, neighbors,

We’re the McFarlands, and we’ve just moved into the corner house on Maple and Laurel. It’s just the two of us now—John McFarland, recently appointed Chief of Police here in Culver, and my son, Spanky, who’s seven (going on wisecracking teenager, if you ask me).

We come from a place that taught us how important it is to work hard, speak the truth, and take care of your own. We’ve packed up a lot of memories and a few hard lessons, but what we’re hoping to build here is a new chapter rooted in respect, discipline, and community.

Our house may be smaller than the life we left behind, but it's full of heart, structure, and strong family values. I believe in firm guidance, a steady hand, and that every boy needs someone who won't just love him—but will teach him right from wrong, even when it’s hard.

Spanky, for his part, is full of fire, wit, and more energy than the town generator. He’s not a troublemaker, but let’s just say he has a talent for “finding” trouble. He misses his mama—we both do—but we’re carrying on in a way she’d be proud of.

You’ll likely see me in uniform, and I may come off strict—but I’ve always said you can serve a town best by knowing its people and raising your own child to be part of the solution, not the problem.

We look forward to getting to know Culver—and letting Culver get to know us.

Sincerely,
John McFarland & Spanky
The McFarlands

WHO ARE WE / Moore Family
« Last post by John Moore on May 06, 2025, 01:37:05 am »
Hello neighbors,

We’d like to introduce ourselves as the newest family to settle into the quiet streets of Culver. The name’s Moore—Mr. Moore and my boy, Dickie—and we’re coming from just a couple towns over looking for a clean slate and a community that still values hard work, discipline, and a little old-fashioned common sense.

I’m a widower, raising my son the way I was raised—firm handshake, clean shirt, and consequences when needed. I run a tight ship, but not without heart. Around here, we believe that respect is earned, chores build character, and “please” and “thank you” should come before dessert.

As for Dickie, he’s six going on sixteen, full of big ideas and bigger messes. If you catch him sneaking cookies, trying to “fix” things he shouldn’t, or giving his two cents when nobody asked for it—well, that’s just Dickie being Dickie. He’s got his mama’s heart and a mind that moves faster than his feet. We’re working on that.

You’ll find our house two doors down from the McFarlands. The lawn’s mowed, the porch light’s on, and you’re welcome to stop by—just don’t be surprised if Dickie’s knee-deep in another grand plan.

Looking forward to meeting all of you—especially those raising kids the right way. Here’s to new beginnings.

—Mr. Moore

"Hi From Me (Dickie!)" – A Kid’s Introduction

Hi everybody!

My name’s Dickie Moore, and I just moved here to Culver with my Pop. We used to live someplace else but now we live here and it’s supposed to be a "fresh start" (Pop says that a lot).

Pop is real serious. Like, “don’t leave your socks on the floor or else” serious. He folds his newspaper before he talks to me, and when he talks, I listen. Or at least I try. He’s not mean, he just believes in what he calls “cor-rect-ing” me. (That usually means no dessert.)

I’m 6 and a half and almost 7, and I know how to ride a bike with no hands, tie a square knot, and eat two sandwiches if there’s jelly. I like comic books, building forts, and asking questions about stuff grown-ups think I shouldn’t.

If you see me around town, I probably got told to “go outside and be useful.” So if you need a helper, or if you got cookies, or if you got a dog that doesn’t bite much—I’m your guy.

Okay, that’s all. Bye for now. And if anyone knows where the best stickball field is, let me know. I got a glove and everything.

– Dickie Moore (but you can just call me Dickie)

Thank you for doing this Mike." This will help everyone including myself know which one we need to reply to. I know there has been times I have messaged to ask for sure. Also like the idea of the single parents unless the partent wants to play both. Again thanks for the time you put in so all of us can have FUN

Ronnie puts his arms around his father and gives him a big hug and says yes Dad I will behave so you don't have to do this ever again to me

Ronnie slides on his underpants very slowly and then buckles up his pants and winces really badly as his bottom is really starting to hurt inside as he turns around and heads to his room to think about what he's done

Ooc

Yes that was awesome thank you very much you play wonderfully and this should be a great role play to continue I will end this one right now and I'll start a new thread maybe when I get off work and we'll say it takes place a month or so later so it doesn't look like he's an extreme brat but he still gets a spankings now and then thank you again and welcome to the group you're doing awesome

Rance wraps his shoulders around his son's shoulders.
He can feel his body trembling and chest heaving as he sobs and sobs

"Ronny I love you very much. I don't ever want to have to spank you again. But if disobey again, I will do it."

"Now put you pants back up and go to your room.  Think about behaving yourself and what will happen if you don't"

Ron was crying a river and a big mess on himself as the last few really brought it home and left him in a heaping mess

Ronnie stands up and is so sore he wants to reach back and rub his sore Hiney but knows better not to

Ron uses his right firearm to stop the crying and the other one to  compose himself
